Under the “Metabox Access” tab you can also control the experience for different user roles. You can decide which roles can access the metabox, which taxonomies they can use, and whether or not they see the default metaboxes.
There are four key features available for each role:
- Metabox Access: Allow users in this role to use the TaxoPress metabox. If you disable this checkbox, the users won’t see the metabox at all.
- Block Users from Creating New Terms: If you check this box, users in this role will be blocked from creating new terms.
- Taxonomies in Metabox: Select the taxonomies that users in this role can manage in the TaxoPress metabox.
- Remove Default WordPress: This will remove default taxonomy metaboxes for users in this role. These are the metaboxes provided by WordPress.
