Where do I find the IDs of tags, posts or categories?

Please install the plugin Reveal IDs. You will then see the ID in a new column.

Advanced users can also find an ID in the links where you edit an item. For example if you edit a post with

https://www.example.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1479&action=edit

then the post ID is 1479.
