TaxoPress has a feature that allows you to merge terms together. You will find this feature on the “Manage Terms” screen in TaxoPress.
TaxoPress can automatically merge Terms that exist on your site. This is very useful for cleaning up Terms that were created by mistake.
In the image below, I have three Terms that are typos: “Blloggingg”, “Bloggingg”, and “Bloging”. I want to merge them all into the “Blogging” term.
The Terms you want to merge must already exist and be added to content on your site.
Click the “Rename” button and you’ll see a message like the screenshot below.
If you’re unsure what terms need merging, try the “Suggest Terms to Merge” button. This will automatically search for and find similar terms.
